2180cc stroked VW Bug

Four year rebuild, still not all the way finished. Sounds a little different in video than in person but I think its sounds ok.... let me know what you think.

with 2180cc does the rear hatch have to be lifted like that, for engine clearance?.....or can you run a regular hinged hatch????

@dopeboyLex Since the engine is air cooled the hood has off sets to bring more air into the bay so that it can cool and no you do not need to have these off sets with a 2180cc engine.

in my opinion I think that you should get a merged header to replace the quad tip system you have. It will flow a lot better.

@dopeboyLex my dad has a bug with a 2180cc engine and 2 big carburators and the back hatch is extended in the back. so yes

@jennkevin29 yea, ill upload one soon, i am taking the engine out in a few days to clean it up and build up to a 1641 then ill upload a video of it . and again, i am truly jealous of your car. very nice work
