Niagara river drift with Fort Erie Underwater Recovery Unit. July 2010. 2 dives, 1st is from the US Railway bridge till the Frenchman's creek facility, 2nd was the Thompson's Hole. Unfortunately I was unable to catch the whirpool's current this time and to the the bottom of the hole, so I just drifted with the current from 43 feet depth till air permitting, and then surfaced.
Awesome. We grew up floating from the international bridge to willys dock in the late 60's early 70's. Never seen the bottom. LOL..... Great video.
