Opening Titles

This is the start of my Halloween short movie. Made by me for my friends Halloween party 2006. All the victims are my friends and each one had to keep their scene a secret until it's first screening at the party on 28th October 2006. It was shot entirely on a simple JVC MiniDV camcorder and edited in Sony Vegas 7 by myself over a period of about 3 weeks. The final cut was made only minutes before arriving at the party itself. How did you get the footage onto Windows Movie Maker, because the quality looks good? And when did you use the black box? Was it an actual black box in ffront of a camcorder or was it something you did in Movie Maker?

I don't use Windows Movie Maker, I used Sony Vegas. The footage was taken from the DVD and then I composited a black square over the original titles in Vegas, then added my titles over the top of that. Hope this helps :)

Good intro. How did you manage to have the pumpkin from Halloween 1, and not have the original credits in?
