tjonge... 't ziet er verradelijk eenvoudig uit... ben benieuwd waar ik tegenaan loop als ik ermee aan de slag ga. Heb van mijn leven nooit van gesso en caparol gehoord, dus dat wordt googlen. Heb je tips hoe je stencils maakt? Misschien ook een filmpje??? (Smile!)

Gesso en caparol kun je in een zaak voor kunstenaarsbenodigdheden kopen (of google bijv "De Kwast" of "Martin Brinkhuis" als je het online wilt bestellen. Vwb stencils zijn er volgens mij al heel veel filmpjes te vinden. Zelf maak ik een tekening, print die uit, lamineer het, en dan uitsnijden met een hobbymesje. Zoek binnen YouTube maar eens op 'stencils' oid.

hello carla, so in this one you put like wall putty and one coat of ???? white and another coat of white stuff...what is the first and the second coat please?????

The first layer is gesso, and the second an acrylic medium (gel or caparol..)

nice techniques.. one question every time you apply a layer of medium.. you use cloth and press it, what is the reason behind it?

To make the colors very 'rich' or 'deep', in Dutch we call that something like 'glaze' ore 'glazing', I'm sorry but I don't know how to say this in English..
