Soundproofing in a tube or "Green Glue", is the best DIY product to hit the market. Green Glue provides excellent acoustic soundproofing for recording studios, home theaters or any other room where you just want peace and quiet.
Wow a bunch of comments from people who know nothing about sound isolation....When you can build a room that can rate between 85 and 95 STC than comment.
Just FYI for everyone applying (3 tubes) per dry wall sheet on one side of the wall is not enough. I can still hear my neighbors. Its to stagger your beams or create another wall inches away your existing wall.
I did my basement for sound proof, but result is not satisfactory , I did installed, hd installation, used resilent channel, pluse, used 4x8 hd drywall. especially impact sound is still there, any bidies out there, to give me suggestion on this very subject. thanks.

Soundproof against impacts can only be acheived with floating walls/floor/ceiling installation.

Please dont buy this incredibly over marketed crap. Something that weighs virtually nothing will not do anything for sound transmission.

it doesn't block voices, if my experience is any indication.
