Florida personal injury attorney Steve Brooks discusses the steps on how to bring a lawsuit after an accident.

When you bring a lawsuit it's typically called a complaint. A case has a plaintiff (the person who is suing) and a defendant (the person who is being sued). A complaint contains allegations of how the accident happened, who's at fault, and a claim for damages. This is presented to the other party and we wait for a response. The response will tell whether we settle or move forward in a lawsuit. Watch the video to learn more.
