  • You guys, critique it after you've posted a video of our performance of the Ysaye and others watch it.

I personally think her performance is fine. Her expression is NOT immature, at least not to me. I think she expresses it the way Ysaye wanted it to be expressed.

Also, videos tend to amplify horrible sounds. But her performance is great, in my opinion.

  • I like this performance.

The only thing I don't see that fits is the beginning. It is to slow to me. I've been playing this for awhile and it is extremely difficult, so I understand going slower in some parts.

  • very good Vivian Luo!!!! seguramente tendras detalles por mejorar pero lo has tocado y eso es lo que vale!!!

  • @CknSalad I think the double stops in the third and 4th page are really tricky to learn. (Finger extensions i mean)

  • I think the harmony and the melodicline lend itself to the Romantic period thus, the articulation is such.

  • You play very good. Especial the fast movement you have a right tempo. A lot of people play to fast. I do not like that.

  • this is a very difficult piece. I've tried to play it and never could finish the piece. much props to you playing such a difficult piece at a recital.

  • you sound amazing :)

  • Personally, i like your version instead of Venegrovs or Hahn's. Keep up the excellent work ;p

  • Yes, because only people who can play music are qualified to have an opinion of it.

I like the idea of the ending becoming a "train coming off the rails" moment, but your interpretation is pretty sound. Good on the audience, too, for knowing enough to be impressed.

  • yeesh, the best performers get the nastiest comments.
