Update: Now available in HQ!

Note/Update: As of August 24th 2008, it has officially been re-released by ME through Epical Studios. It will not have the Epical Studios watermark and Introduction. It's not a theft!

Sorry for the crap quality, its youtube at its worst again...

This summer (2 years ago), I finally got myself my first laptop ever, a macbook. And being an obsessive editor like I am I just HAD to see if I can make a video on it with Final Cut Pro. I did and I was extremely happy with the final results.

Anyway, the video is called Project Teamwork and is intended to be used in an MEP (multi editor project) in the near future. This is my piece. I wanted to show how working as a team can sometimes overcome some big challenges (like Bahamut) in this one. As for the song, I KNOW, its overused, overkilled, dead, buried, and decaying but I just HAD to use it. It was short and sweet and I thought it was perfect for my first video made on my mac.

Now for credit information, since its probably hard to read...

Project Teamwork.

  • umm. u are amazing! i love this!!!!!

  • Thank you.

  • awesome

  • Thanks

  • KaitoTheRamenBandit (1 year ago):

yeah thats true, but Sephie vs Cloud makes the track sound even more intense, imma do that later, along with many other anime

    MaggIvyES (1 year ago):

It's not the footage that makes the music sound more intense, it's you that does. Show how the song makes you feel with your editing, that's what makes an intense and powerful video.

    Looking forward to seeing it.

  • KaitoTheRamenBandit (1 year ago) :

i would have done one with Sephiroth instead but this was cool

    MaggIvyES (1 year ago) :

That was the original idea but I found it to be to cliche and it wouldn't fit the idea I was going for, since the video idea was all about teamwork and seeing how Cloud fought Sephiroth alone, it just wouldn't work out.

  • you're really reeeeally good

  • Nice editing.

  • To GoingCrazy201: Well, Final Cut is indeed faster and easier to use, it doesn't have to render everything like Premiere does (6.5). Its great and fun to use. But I won't quit on Premiere. Since I practically have two puters now (mac and pc), I'll use both for sure.

To totalalien: Wow, thanks. And yep, its meant to be short. This video isn't incomplete like the others.

To everyone else: Thanks. And sorry about the quality again, youtube doesn't take to well to apple mp4s or something...

  • To stfukent: Final Cut Pro 5.

To ThePyroPoptart: It was simple actually, I just used a key matte (or something like that) and adjusted it to the point it appeared like the hands are completely crossing over the image. Its not perfect but it gets the job done. Didn't take very long lol.
