  • could you get a friend in another car to follow you and get some video of it?

  • That would be a great way to do it. It would take 3 people. One to drive the truck, one to drive a follow car, and one to run the camera.

    I did this video all by myself one day as a basic experiment.

    I am currently driving thetruck with a home-made, rigid, tonneau cover that covers two-thirds of the back of the bed.

  • Hey you might want to try making it rigid and also I know that if you just make or buy a tonou cover those help alot I think the optimal angle is 25 degrees. Also some food for thought 90% of drag is created by the front and windsheild of you car so try making an air dam out front to really help.
