FS Thunderbolt 1000T First 2012 Test

This is the first siren test of the year 2012 for the city of Pontiac,IL. Our siren system consists of 9 sirens. 6 of them at Thunderbolt 1000Ts, and the remaining 3 are 2t22A sirens. The system runs in Alert mode the first Tuesday of each month. It seems that the tests are becoming progressively longer.

This 1000T is located at the intersection of Elm and Meade Streets in Pontiac,IL. The siren's Chopper setting I believe is a High 4 or Low 5, 5/6 ports. It sits right across from the Pontiac Township High School and the Pontiac Parks and Recreation Center. The Junior High is also not far from this siren. I filmed this back in February of 2009.

nice, i was wondering where the 6th thunderbolt in Pontiac was. in nice condition, awesome video! wish the 2 i shot did 3 min allert, but oh well

@amtrak3501 I almost think that the sirens on this side of town run longer than the other. It's weird. If you notice, you can hear other sirens in the background winding down like a full minute before this one does.
