Hi Keith, that bit of tool making saved like more than 50% of man hours on that particular job (except the time for the tool itself). Clever! And a nifty idea with that brush keeping the Delrin from clogging up on your cutting tool! Will keep that in mind. @Tarlang Thanks, Rudi, there will be more orders of the same parts every so often, so the tool will keep saving. The brush is more for keeping the chips from flying around and in face, while operating... :)
@imbro84 Shop Vac does a pretty good job, just remember to clean up any metal chips before starting the project, when mixed they don't make it though the hose...

Keith did you heat treat the tool?
You said it was tool steel and I was wondering if you did. I wouldn't think it would need to be that hard since Delrin cuts so easily.

@billdlv Hi Bill, No, I left it alone, the way it cut, it propably would do thousands of parts before even needing a shapening :D
