I am a Busa rider, but I would surely own a harley later on in life. I have rode my dad's 04 Road King and my buddy's 09 Street Glide... I have to say, they're actually really comfortable to ride. But right now I crave the speed and handling of a crotch rocket. A V-Rod might be in my future though!

Most parts on one of those american twins are far more heavy duty than anything from japan! How long things lasts depends on how you treat it. Besides. I have seen no end of honda 4's crying their eyes out after a few miles, popping and banging. That said. My honda V twin that looks like a baby davidson, with a radiator has got 44000 miles on it. The last 14000 or so being trouble free. :)

I wouldn't think you'd find a word on how the diamond patch bike clubs operate on any search engine. Let alone harley davidsons search engine. besides as far as I know harley davidson motorcycles have always marketed for family people, rather than 1% clubs, who would have to send their missus for parts if they wanted them. Which is ironic considering the people they might have least wanting to be assosiated with were their biggest customers, even in the AMF years. I'd have called them ungreatful
