COPS Toughest Takedowns Lakewood Police Department

Deputy John Delgado and Deputy Kory Shaffer of the Lakewood Police Department assist another unit in pursuit of a vehicle which was involved in a hit-and-run. The chase ends when the one of the units successfully performs a pit maneuver which eventually disables the vehicle. The desperate driver bails out of the vehicle and flees on foot. He is ultimately found hiding under some nearby brush. During routine investigation, officers learn that the suspect was initially stopped for a possible DUI. When asked why he tried to escape he admits that he has a suspended license.

This is a Military Installation and I am Military Police, Military Working Dogs, are used in this very situation.
