@Noubers Thank you for the explanation. I am used to the 360º degrees that's why I stranged it. ;)

@Focha mil's not degrees its more accurate at a distance and is in smaller increments than degrees same as the roamer on most compass's is for a six figure ref but military protractors and roamers sometimes have 8 figure roamers so instead of being accurate to 100m (6 figure) you are now down to 10m (8 figure) really important if you are calling in artillery or air strikes you dont want to be out by a few 100 m's especialy if you are near by :D

This is so great. Finally, a compass I can use! This looks identical to my compass that I use in RL too. Very much look forward to this. Good luck with finishing it up!
A very useful toool. Unfortunately it does not show up when I press "H" in the map view! My ACE Version is 290 an I copied the ace_keys in the correct folder.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Cheers

Make sure that your keyboard is bound to the right key, it is H on a US English Keyboard, it might be different on different language keyboards. If that doesn't solve it, then make sure you click a few times around in the map to get focus. Sometimes it can be a bit picky.
Also, you do have the item added to your unit right? The item is "ACE_Map_Tools" and you can use it using the addWeapon command.
If none of this works, please make a ticket on dev-heaven and I will look into it further.

I just don't understand why the circle is divided in 64º instead of 360º. Can someone explain to me?
Thanks, regards.

That is 6400 milliradians, which is the most common measurement of angle in the military. There is a angle in degrees in the center as well. For artillery and a lot of other fields though you would rarely here angles in degrees since there is some neat math that can help simplify things when using mils.

Thank you, working on some math to make it work with other maps than Utes and Chernarus. There are some serious limitations to using map markers the way I am using them (obviously this is not what they were designed for) and they scale differently depending on the size of the map. Going to have to do some underhanded trickery with the dirty.... uhh anyway yea. Soon! :D Hopefully including the ability to share the map that you have drawn up with people around you. :)
