  • Nice Technoid d[-_-]b

  • the best drum and bass i ever came across...Gene Sequence was massive for me

  • @ytubueuser thanks for posting this! I was curious what he moved onto creatively. Interesting to hear they're Scottish, as Kemal is a Turkish name. To think they're from NZ would be crazy, must be a part of this national pride attitude that irritates me fast and often. NZ producers like Concord Dawn/State of Mind etc are good, but IMO, overrated by a lot of people. However, i believe the flavour of tracks like Division Ten or Trei's 'Day Away' are a good spice to add to the dish of D&B.

  • Kemal & Rob Data aka Konflict are from Glascow, Scotland

They are the Gods of Drum n Bass.

    Get to know...

Kemal was writing with a world music group called Nomadiqua

  • Kemal is from Scotland ... had the pleasure of meeting him once.

  • @capableSOUL1

They are from Scotland, not NZ. Last I heard, some years ago, was Kemal quit d&b altogether and went off to make weird islamic 'world' music. I can't remember the name of the project, unfortunately.

  • What ever happenend to konflcit anyway haven't heard anything in years

  • they're scottish.

    eric b

  • @capableSOUL1 Wiki says they're from Glasgow, but that might be wrong.

  • Konflict are actually from New Zealand, or so I thought. They played a spceial appearance in LA in 2001 at Audiotistic! OMG... talk about face melting beats and mind blowing rhythms! I havent heard anything new from Kemal in awhile! please post more!
