Actually quite a few people take him seriously. In fact, most do because this is probably the most eloquent, heartfelt and well-constructed speech fighting for gay couples to have the same rights as everyone else that you will ever see and hear on national television.

Just because someone covers sports doesn't mean they can't cover politics and visa versa. Olbermann is simply an intelligent and well-read human being, which is something you would know absolutely nothing about!

How do you know God hates it? From an ancient book? You're using pieces of paper bound by glue to base what you think the supposed creator of everything likes and dislikes? This entity supposedly engendered the universe. Do you think he cares what a relatively small sect of some species in one galaxy out of countless galaxies' sexual preferences are? I'm not even religious, but seeing it through your eyes it doesn't even make sense. You are deluded to the point where you are scary.
