oh.. i forgot .. try the drawings of kalampaatu in kerala, the tanjore paintings... and zendala in china and pichwai.. you know the main differences between all these are very subtle but too strong to consider all are same.

The chronology of indian art is way too different. First came Kalamkari, then kerala mural, then comes pichwai....
The Kalamkari (the traditional fabric art of andhra) is the forerunner.. so is the kerala murals... Just compare the techniques in both.. you know how these evolved.
