"Foul, coarse language in the pulpit. Sexually explicit language in the pulpit."
Open your bible you old fart there's tons of explicit language in there. Macarthur represents dying old school 1960s christianity.

I love john macarthur. But the one thing i dont like about him is the way he attacks mark driscoll. Nearly all of the claims he makes are exaggerated and foolish. Mark Driscoll's series on the song of solomon wasnt even that bad. I can tell that Macarthur has never even taken the time to listen to the series.

the last part of the video where you put up the words was really disturbing. that is what causes so much division in church today and is not what John was getting at at all

@UtahSandy7 Your argument on despensationalism is compelling

Realize that MacArthur's disagreement with MD has more to do with the way Driscoll seems to handle such sensitive topics with no sense of reverence but rather "plays" with them in a brutish & unfeeling way, making light of his words, aiming to win the audience by appealing to their appetite for entertainment and human pride; trying to make church goers and Christians feel comfortable with things they are inherently uncomfortable with and that for good reason.. their conscience.

@andrewdreiling11 macarthur is filled with the spirit and embodies what a pastor should be don't forget who a pastor represents on the pulpit driscoll should be more careful not the other way around

haha i love driscoll. I love Mcarthur, but come oh... Read the bible if you want to hear something explicit coarse and vulgar... and i think its funny how the pharasees called Jesus alot of the same things lol seriously though. Driscoll is just talking about real issues our culture deals with like masterbation and porn. Hes advocating any of them, but why is talking about sex bad? Sex is awesome and amazing. Within a godly marriage sex is so absolutely just ah! It is an act of worship.
Mr. Macarthur has some good points in here, but he'd better be careful w/ the attack on Mark Driscoll. I wonder if John has approached Mark about his issues w/ Mark's ministry...in accordance with scripture of course. Also, John's a known "dispensationalist", and he does his own twisting of scripture...as in trying to explain tongues as meaning only known human languages. God bless friends.

andrewdreiling11: John Mac Arthur doesn't have to go to Mark Driscoll privately because he is correcting public teaching. Matt 18 is private offenses. Dispensaltionalism doesn't twist the scriptures.
