First two parts of Handel's sonata g minor. I believe this piece was transcribed from Handel's oboe concerto.

Jackie with Ernest Lush in 1961.

  • Amazing.

  • This is beautiful. As everything Jacqueline du Pré did. Have just read her biography written by her brother and sister. Breathtaking just like her music. As jto 1916 says she left us far too soon.

  • @ark0824 he's trying to do it in baroque style. i've performed the duet before (i played the piano part), and you're supposed to use minimal pedal. and since it's in baroque form, there are only two types of dynamics you could play

  • piano is bad!!

  • Thanks for posting this wonderful video. Jacqueline du Pre left us far too soon.

  • hi sumiregusa thanks for this video :)

  • I wonder just how many wonderful players Lush did accompany--this man could have written a book on interesting people he knew and played with like..J. du Pre, Ossy Renardy...my goodness, what a history!

  • Lástima que no se vea a la Du Pre tocando esta precisoa Sonata
