Man those were the days. I bought the first album right when it came out but by the time they hit Southern California for a show in May of '95, Andy had already left the band. I really wish I could have caught a show with him on guitar because I never really dug Tom's style that much. For me Magnified Plaid is all about that first album, they never quite sounded the same after that one.

This is the best footage I've ever witnessed of MxPx. I Love when they go hard, like pretty much anything before life in general, but still a great band. They have really unoriginal commercial shit out now, but every record has some damn good songs so I have mad respect for them. Plus Mike and Yuri are my boys. Andy and Tom are cool, but Mike and Yuri hold it down. No bullshit drumming or basslines EVER.
