Two contrasting sounds - Clapton/ Cream woman tone then Angus Young chords for comparison...

  • is this thing cranked? that must be loud as fuck

  • @hotfudgemoney No, not really loud... as I was using the PowerBrake attenuator to bring the volume right down. Thant's why you can just hear the strings acoustically in the room. I've never had the volume on full without the Powerbrake. It'sjust not practicable, even on a big outdoor stage.

    Thanks,

    Jase

  • how old is this amp?

  • It's between July and December '68.

Has a new box as the old one got broken by a previous owner. I'm looking for an authentic head to put it into. It's a reissue box, obviously in great condition.

  • alot of people say the marshall powerbrake really sucks the tone away, what do you think. I really want a 50 slp but theyre so damn loud and Ive heard so much negative feedback of attenuators

  • Nice tone dude, shit you must get complains like crazy from neighbors haha. They just don't realize how lucky they are to hear a marshall cranked!! nice woman tone.

  • sounds sweet!
