@disengagejam maybe but you can hear the Bad Brains influence throughtout their music. Although I think the tag "Soul Metal" fits them better. Calling them Black Metal confuses them with the satanic metal genre of the same name. Bad Brains started to go metal on I Against I in '86 so they predate Living Colour. Saw Fishbone once live, they were amazing.

@Feelthewobwobwob You know what I always answer when people ask me what music I listen to? "Good music". Because Im not chained by genre, just like you doesnt seem to be either. Peoples need to categorize themselves and others is just too great!
