Never mind people! Inside our own nation we are labelled as British yet in countries such as France and Germany, they still refer to the whole of the UK as England! yaaaay

@al1ad2 That's because parties like the BNP have made the more liberal minded afraid to be nationalistic, they're the ones dragging the meaning of being British into the pits and now people are worried that they'll be stereotyped if they even address the matter. The BNP are fuelling a disgusting, self-fulfilling prophecy where we're not only losing a patriotic unity, but actually becoming WORRIED that flying the flag will make us look like members of the National-fucking-Front.

This is the kind of arrogance that DOESN'T make me proud to be english...

@GLORD99092 Actually, Wales, England, Scotland and (yes!) Northern Ireland are termed "constituent countries".

@jimbob1969 hahah yeah. That was a little.... off.

it annoys me how people seem to link national pride to colour or creed, if you are english you are english and englishmen are proud men.
without sounding like a clichey "the mdeia" paint englishmen as racist slovenly pigs of people with either a stiff upper lip or no sense of decorum. we are afraid to realise that england is truely great. We are a hard working, well educated, proud, strong, innovative, resiliant nation and we deserve recognition.

@jimbob1969 my thoughts exactly ;)

England stood alone against Hiter...erm, okay.
Geez talk about a bizarre pseudo-historical reading of history. I'm in favour of an Independent England, but not led by idiots like the English Democrats.
