In the Event "Ichigo-Hitosaki Vol.1" on 29th Nov. 2008, at KAKADO in Tokyo.
Rika Aizu plays "ichigo-ichie," Japanese domestic instrument composed from Western guitar and Okinawan Sanshin and sings her original song named "Haiiro-no Oka" meaning "Gray Hill," where human soul pass through when he or she once dies and rebirths as another being...
This motiv is written as a manga by last Osamu Tezuka, famous manga author and Rika was so much impressed with his work.
Also, melody is after a Japanese old lullaby though it is hardly heard like that.
This time, she featured a bassist called "Yeti," who plays contrabass so that you can enjoy the rare collaboration of Ichigo-ichie and contrabass.
