Here is a tribute to my native land, Cameroon, and to my fellow countryman and great artist Richard Bona. Cameroon is nicknamed "Little Africa" because it possesses all the different landscapes found in Africa.

Vocals were recorded on a Zoom H4n recorder in multitrack mode

Here are the lyrics (in Duala, a dialect from the littoral province in Cameroon...I believe it's a metaphor of the state of Africa after the departure of the colons)

"To mbembe o mulema be nde wala
Mola na nong'ebale e be nde biana na bo moto

Kwala tet'ekombo na natena yen eyida kango na"

Here's a basic translation:

"Go tell our Father, far over there in the forest of Kango, that they left us here to suffer without a tear in their eyes. My friend, we only borrowed from them but it feels as though we had committed a crime"

Thanks to my friend Nathalie for the help in the translation of the lyrics and to the magician Julien "trudbol" Neel for getting me to purchase the amazing Zoom H4n !
