2002 6 speed 540i vs 2006 auto 350z

Me and my buddy seeing how my 540i reacted to the recent mods of M60 high flow manifold and straight pipes cat back to a magnaflow #14834. Before mods the Z would pull away slowly. run done from 20mph to around 110mph

first of all the 540i is underrated , 350z dynos around 240 to the rear wheels stock 6 speed 540i dynos 286 to the rear wheel and the car is heavier but it has the tq that can be used

@norvelbb this particular Z with a stillen exhaust and pop charger dynoed 228whp and 223wtrq

My e34 540i/6 i had before my e39 put down 252whp and 262wtrq and got smoked by this Z all the time. The only place I could take it was at over 140mph

you need to poweshift buddy . dont let go of gas when you shift, i raced lots of 350z and they by 100 mph i have 5 cars on them , from first to second when i power shift it leaves them 1 car behind, 540i has lots of tq u need to use it.

@norvelbb I dont need to powershift an expensive trans over a no cash race against my friend lol. Somtimes I pull on him sometimes he pulls on me. Watch the other vid of us racing from a dig. Theres where the 330ftlbs comes into play.

@norvelbb Lol...if you're putting 5 cars on a 350z in a stock 540 then the Z driver is clueless. They make less tq, but more hp and are much lighter. 1/4 times are the same for an older 350 and a 540. An 07+ 350Z with the HR motor is too strong for the bmw.
