There is an excellent new book called Born To Run by Christopher McDougall it just came out. It is all about the Tarahumara and their running legacy.

Actually, several Raramuri have tried, and won, marathons. Did you actually read Born to Run? They have had success running, they just don't want to leave their families.

I hate to say it but the govornment of Mexico should be done away with and recreated. It is just no good. Does not serve the people oruse the people to its full advantage.
