I used to get goosebumps watching this as a little boy in Nova Scotia, and sitting here in Toronto decades later, I still do. :)

I love this Bach like analogue glory of my favourite Canadian city, Toronto, long live the Streetcar!!

@uggy3456 { would love to visit Toronto!

It was all downhill for Toronto after the '70s--and certainly after the '80s.
Nice little tune--reminds me of Frank Zappa's Francesco Zappa album.
Good to see this again for the first time in years.

Hee hee! Go Toronto! So classy :) These vignettes are great.

Goes to show that Toronto bears no resemblance any more to what is presented here!
It's now a trashy centre of money, media, and one-upmanship of the fashionista kind. Yuck!

I didn't know in my youth, but I thought in later years in was Bach's Brandenburg Concerto #2... but after listening to it again for the first time in about 30 years... I still have no idea of the source of the music

Definitely a nicer tribute than the late Sir Joseph Banks paid to my hometown back in 1766: "For dirt and filth of all kinds, St. John's may, in my opinion, reign unrivalled as it exceeds any fishing town I ever saw in England."

What music is this?

This is an endearing, charming little ode to Toronto. I think it's quite lovely. National Film Board Vignettes are awesome.
An industrious and hopeful song which captures the essence of Toronto... whoever made these vignettes absolutely nailed it.
