Minecraft - Nature Overhaul Mod

This fantastic mod was created by Clintonxa and CJ2311.
All the settings are on insane speed and some parts of the video have been sped up so it's usually slower than this.

how do you get it to still show your hand but not the rest of the GUI? i like to have the GUI turned off but i still want to see my hand and tools.

@WittyUsername816 Sadly this cannot be done in-game (yet). I just trimmed the top and bottom of the video to remove the GUI.

What's the "cj's snow mod" that is supposedly also in this video then? Included in the nature overhaul?

@Baleur That was a mod than basically added the snow effects and ice freezing that are in the game today. It has been removed from the mod now because it's already in the game.

@kresimircindric The settings in the video are on INSANE. On the lower settings it's much slower than this.

I think the trees should drop a little less saplings and they should have like leaves blowing away in the wind. maybe you could add storms as well.  Really great mod! Keep it up.

And speaking of forests, the mushroom biome also has its own special feature with the mod. Huge mushrooms spread in the biome, so basically you can have mushroom "forests" provided that huge mushrooms have populated most of the biome. XD

The growth in the latest version of the mod (for beta 1.8.1.) is biome-based. Meaning forests won't grow beyond forest biomes, and wild grass won't populate just as much outside shrubland biomes, and so on. Seems fair enough.

The settings in this video are on "insane", meaning forest growth, among others, is insanely fast. They are set as such so that they could specifically and decently showcase this mod in a video. Though you can set them to "insane" when you use this mod yourself, you can set it to the more desirable slower speeds if you wish. :)
