The Knickerbocker Village, http://knickerbockervillage.blogspot.com/, folks have fond memories of the automat we went to after bowling at City Hall Lanes. I put this together with images I discovered of automats and automat related items.

I went to the automat every Sunday after attending mass at St. Joseph's.

There was Pops pool room just above, which closed when my friend was killed in a brawl.

There was also a bowling alley up there.
