This is a guitar cover i did for the Ronan Keating version of Alison Krauss' When You Say Nothing At All with the actual song playing in the background. Please keep in mind that i'm still learning to play guitar, and the webcam i'm using kinda sucks so the audio is good, but the video for it lags horribly. I Hope You Enjoy It!!!

well this song is pretty easy to learn once you get the hang of guitar. I strum it because it sounds better to me. The chords it uses are all major chords. D major, A major, G major, back to A major, back to D major and thats pretty much it. I don't know the guitar solo in the middle though. the picking pattern is a little more tricky to explain so id recommend watching a live music video for the Alison Krauss version or a guitar cover that doesn't lag as mine does. good luck! :)

This isn't too bad. I agree with you though, it would've went along with the song better if you had your capo. But you didn't do too bad for still learnin guitar :-) And it's always good to try! I've been playing guitar for a few years now and I still can't get that intro to this song right haha... I've gotten close, but it still sounds off XD ANYWAY!!! lol well the intro is just a hammer-on pull-off but the way i was taught was w/o the intro. i really wana learn how to play the guitar solo after the second verse though. my gf organized a band, and she wants me to be in it so ill hafta get better i guess. I lost my capo when i moved but its supposed to be capo'd at the first fret. i have met Alison Krauss in person,and thats what she told me after thanking me for supporting her music. Yes i'm a fan of Gonzaga. a big one.

Np thats what new found friends are for! :-) and yeah i was speechless cuz she put me as lead guitarist/lead vocals/official band songwriter. and i always seem to lose my capo. and when i have my capo i lose my pick! lol isnt disorganization great? lol jk. ive been to Coeur D'Alene, and my grandpa lives in Spokane, and yes that probably was the only reason. or u could have just been one of those random ppl who wanted to marry basketball(that was sarcasm) like my dad. lol

how exactly are you strumming? im trying to learn this song and i cant seem to get the strumming for some reason... i was trying to watch your fingers but the camera was a little slow so your fingers got blurred lol
