great vid:) lol but actually a pullet is a female chicken that is no longer a chick, but hasnt reached full maturity(egg laying)...not a chicken under 1 year..just thought u should know:)

hay man really nice coop but a suggestion you should put a plank going across your coop because chickens and turkey are more comfortable perching

i have the same trouble with my doors they like to push the shavings.Its really bad now it winter and it freezes.Nice coop.5 stars

I see, My friends who got me into chickens have a german shepered, witch protects there's, so Thats good, Glad it wen't we'll... But I'm making my run now, alot of work :P GoodLuck once again!
i love how you have chickens with turkeys, how r u going to keep the yurkeys and chickens in such a small area?

it is not a small area. it is much larger than any commercial operation. it is actually much much larger than what is recommended. not to mention that they can roam the property when i am around.

they could technically jump the fence, but they have a lot of room in their run, so they don't feel closed in. Im not worried about predators because I have many large dogs on the property, and they don't bother my birds. The chicks go inside every evening before it gets dark, and coyotes and foxes hunt at night. That coop is fort knox, there will be no predator that can get in. Yes turkeys can fly when they are young, but they get so big as they grow, that they lose that ability.
