construction - acryllic sheet on top of the lcd matrix, infrared leds lined on the borders of acryllic. infrared camera behind the screen.
how it works - the ir leds emit light which we cant see but only the camera detects,acryllic is flooded with ir. when the finger touches the surface it causes the light to bounce to the camera. an app called tbeta detects this and transforms it into xy coordinates and sends to the target application.
