  • @greyshasbecomemylife She isn't trying to sell Clara, she's buying her happiness. Sorta different.

  • @BWombat12 I know!!!! I felt so bad for Clara!!!! :(

  • Seeing Clara's reaction to the phonecall is just heartbreaking...

  • wow i love this musical

  • @greyshasbecomemylife

I think that the song meant to signify how happy they once were, and how they wished they had trusted their younger instincts, because they're both unhappy now. They allow the love between Fabrizio and Clara because they realize that they'll be resigning their children to false love and broken dreams if they break them up.

  • holy cow, she was trying to sell her daughter. I don't understand why he said OK to the walk, what the song meant, why it changedthings. Esp since the song seems to say, when I was young, I was happy and idealistic and then I grew up. Which I would think would make them NOT want their "stars in their eyes" children to wed.

Roy reminds me of John Edwards. Handsome, southern accent, ass. :)

  • Sometimes I wish the story would have taken so more risks and although there are some moments that are well played out I wished they had upped the anty and really played out some more of the tension. There are some really unfulfilled moments and storylines but all in all its a good musical.

  • I like this musical but it does have some issues that although not overwhelming do exist. The songs are are melodic and harmonic but however I feel that sometimes the songs take routes (in terms of melody and structure) that are sort of akward and unusual but I guess that's because of the time of musical Guetell is writing his music and songs in.
