Contra - Final Stage

Well well... it comes down to this. Who would have thought that it would be the end? You think it's the end... NO! Because after this, I'm doing Super C and then Contra III: The Alien Wars to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Contra Franchise. Be sure to get Contra 4 for the Nintendo DS because this game is without a shadow of a doubt, a true classic.

there was no saving in this game, if you lost all your lives, Game Over, and start again...I beat this game when I was about 6 years old.... one of my greatest achievements in my gaming experience.

damn, this brings back such fond memories of childhood...contra was the awesomest thing...When that final line came out and says"..consider yourself a hero" I felt like one! And be all happy and proud of myself for saving the universe, until my mom would call both me and my brother to the dining table for lunch!

i was just years old and couldnt even read english well, after completing the last level, my father was nearby...i told him to read the ending note...........and i still remember the phrase 'a hero'.......good old dayz...:) ...made me remember my childhood

I love this game but can't get over the fact that sometime in development the makers must have said "you know what the last level needs? A monster that looks like a giant cock with teeth that vomits larvae monsters at you!" and no one found this idea to be strange.
