Looks like a fantastic solution but is there a prototype for this so we can see the feasibility ourselves? The reality is that we have become skeptics because of other false claims.

Best idea ever!

OK Like weve all heard many times being inventors, "Good luck with your idea" Or Why dont you build one. Like 1 person can wear all those hats. Also the closer you get to a finish product, good luck finding anyone cheap or who can even afford to help you as a partner for long. They all have families and living expenses. And then exposure is a whole new hurdle. Most people have their own agendas.

Why have you not been invited TEDx IITKgp 2011? Why have you not been awarded the distinguished alumnus award? Why is there a delay in implementation of these awesome projects? Why are we so slow? Why are we so ungrateful to Indian innovators?

I happen to be observing your site and looks like you are deleting comments from others who are openly questioning you and you are retaining only selective ones. you are not receptive to open criticisms and lack professionalism and you are a definite intellectual fraud going by your behaviour delete public comments which openly question your arguments. having created a public blog and inviting comments you should be professional enough. otherwise shut this site

@MsToolshed Please ask professional clarifications with some technical back ground This is not a site to personally attack . I have been very open in answering genuine comments. I do not need praise from any one. If information is useful make use of it. Questions relevant to subject will be answered but irresponsible comments will be deleted

The Gravity Powered transportation is not funded by the Government. Post retirement it was effort at own personal expenditure. I am glad International Journal of Railways South Korea published the technical paper of mine on this subject in March 2010, and further International Patent Published by World International Property Office Geneva, as well as the US Patent Office cleared for patent publication in February 2010.

Interesting. Came across a blog that one person was killed while testing this track. Surprising to note it whereas large metro is contstructed these without many incidents. Is this concept and track viable from safety perspective when it could take kill a person during testing phase itself

@invest1001 If you want to know the details all information is publicly available including the accident inquiry report. The experimental stage has some risks attached and if a man out of his careless behaviour and indiscipline in an experiment loses life, it is not the technology to blame. Skybus is derailment free and capsize free railway : many orders safer than existing systems. On Mumbai metro line more than 3000 lives are lost annually. London too lost lives in certified systems..

Good work and thought. i went through your blog and Skybus initative. You seem to have taken some initative beyond routine while in government service. Also, the goa track is it government sponsered or industry sponsered, since i saw a blog indicating several industry logos.

@invest1001 The first prototype of Skybus and station were entirely funded by industry in kind. Each one contributed his skill and product integrating all components to make the prototypes, at Rs 7 cr. Later the Ministry of Railways felt embarrassed and authorised Rs 50 cr to be spent from our (KRCL) funds to construct the 1.6 km track and the entire system to conduct dynamic trials in Goa. Both are still available at Margao Goa. Wonder in what state of maintenance!
