Big swell (10 feet) was hitting today (November 23) Santa Cruz. Francois and I took off early in the morning and went to Scotts Creek north Santa Cruz. Few surfers were in the water and it was big and nice.

Scotts Creek jacks so hard at 10 feet or it did in the early 80s. This and big Lane were my fave spots.

video makes waves look half as big and turns twice as weak, that was overhead and the guy wasn"t surfing bad

they are bent over alot more than you can tell and its at most 4 or 5 feet
