  • Nice1 Malc.

Have you ever tried Dandelion Flower Fritters? There really nice, Made a batch last night. Good savory or even sweet with a bit of Maple syrup in the batter

  • mmmm sounds delicious

  • I love them, in spring you can make a delicious salad, just use dandelion leaves, maybe some hardboiled eggs add some salt and some tasty oil like pumpkin seed oil, it tastes great!

and what exactly do you say at

    2:58-3:03?

    sorry cant understand u

  • there is on old wives tale saying, if you eat dandilions , that night you,ll piss your bed

  • can you eat the other one you showed there?

are they both the same plant or is one toxic?

you didn't say anything about the other one you showed, just the one you were eating?

4/5 because you didn't talk about the other plants.

  • its just the same plant but with rounded leaves ,you can eat roots ,leaves ,and the flowers

  • i love young dandilion leaves with white vinigar and salt or a vinnigerette. i guess a salad dressing would work just fine to. iv also mixed them with spinach there very high in iron i belive

  • LOL if you soak the leaves in water for a couple of hours before eating them the bitterness will be removed. It also helps if you use a touch of vinegar that actually turns them sweet ! Otherwise I'd leave them as a Pot Herb. Oh BTW The World Food Bank Ranks Dandelions at number four on the most nutritious edible plants !

  • Isn't one of those the false dandelion?....I've found some that are also kind of fuzzy leaves are those dandelions too? Thanks!

  • I just pissed the bed :(

  • I eat them all the time. They're free, very good for you and have all the essential amino acids. You can live on that shit and people are digging them up and throwing them away :P

  • @johnjayrambo11111 Hey john i too have herd that but there is a little truth in it as the plant is a diuretic, which means it makes the bladder produce more urine. So don't have too many beers and eat Dandelions, bad combo lol. Love the vids mate, keep up the good work.

  • When I was a kid I'd be in the yard in the Spring (before they bud and get bitter with that milky sap) digging up tons of them. We'd steam them and eat them with salt and vinegar. DEEEEEElicious. My grandmother made a clear, yellowish wine from the flowers.

Around here we also get leeks and chives, plus tons of wild berries and nuts.

  • they are a natural diuretic,we used to call them "Pee the bed" in Ireland.

  • do u ever go out in to the woods for a day or to and just live of this traps and so on

  • it is a diuretic - so the ol saying may be right.
