@cavajason And on the last page of comments you said the average length of a female retic in captivity is in the low 20's or high teens, feet wise, and that they can grow to 30 feet. First off, no retic has ever been known to get 30 feet. There was a rumor of one getting 33ft, but the longest one on record is a little over 27ft. And as far as the average captive female being around 20ft, thats not at all true. Most females are around 13-16 feet. 20+ footers are very rare and usually way overfed.

@cavajason Also, that is not a purple. Albinos also come in a lavender phase, which is what you have there. The purples are literally purple.

@cavajason My bad, you just look way younger, like your 15 or so. Anyways, you got an update vid & how's she doing?

@SpiderShane1 hmmm you can pretty much guarantee wrong, i'm not some stupid 11 year old, i've been a part of this hobby as long as a lot of adults in the industry, and being 21 I hardly consider myself a kid.

@panopteshorni thats more the specific localities, but also genetics, and the amount you feed them has a ton to do with it as well, the retics known as dwarfs are locality specific animals for the most part then are bred to others and can result in a mid ranged snake.

@panopteshorni I can almost guarantee that he got rid of her, which is what pretty much every kid who gets a retic does when it gets over like 8-10 feet.

@cavajason The size depends on where the snakes natural habitat is. Some are big some are smaller. The ones from islands tend to be smaller due to the size of their habitat and amount of food.
did you take down your tribute video?
