Today I review the Sony MDR-XB700 headphones and compare them against their predecessor, the Sony MDR-XB500 headphones. I have yet to do a Review on the Sony MDR-XB300 headphones. That is yet to come. In a birds eye view of this tutorial, get the MDR-XB700 headphones. You won't be disappointed.

hey, ive been checking out these headphones for a while and wuz planning on gettin the 700's (beacuse the 1000's are too much) but i cant find them anywhere since before christmas, not even the sony website have them. should i wait a little longer (some bestbuy dude said around 2 weeks) or just go with the 500's instead? what shud i dou?

@poeralGCkings if you want the 500's you wont be disappointed. i recently broke the 700's (party got a bit crazy and someone stepped on them) i took them to a sony store and because of my warrenty they replaced them. BUT they didn't have 700's in stock so i got the 500's again instead and i must say, there is a bit of a clarity difference (like 2/10 difference) I do like the 700's better. so I'd say personally, wait.

Have them too [700]  and just bought the bx300 because the 700s are a little big to go outside. I love them 3 :-D

whoa.. whoa.. 140$ for XB700 ?? dude they worth twice less, around 80 bucks, and these are not fake. those are genuine Sony )

but, doctorhead.ru actually have a price close to this, but i dont see why, DNS is a trusted seller with a 12 months warranty on these, and i had a chance to compare them, its the very same original package, with the very same Sony's Thailand manufactured product inside

Big question. I am gonna buy these and the FiiO E5 amp and use it all from an ipod touch. Would this be good? or should i get the 500s with no amp ? i really want the 700s though but would that amp be good?
