Marlene was the embodiment of High Glamour and she made it look so effortless which is amazing. She looked like a woman (a privelaged one) and always maintained that fabulous figure without becoming skeletal looking as so many women currently appear. A true feminine star.

Marlene Dietrich's outer and inner beauty cannot be described fully with words!!! She could do the androgyny thing very well but she also defines WOMANLY! I looooove this video! The musical choices are interesting. You have the naughty jazz tune and then the epic classical music! Each reflects the different facets of Marlene's character! What a lady!!! I have magazines that show Marlene's lofts of clothes, that were opened for her Museum. Everything was properly stored in tissue with providence and hand written notes as to what the costumes and memorabilia were. She kept practically every costume she ever wore ......and now they are preserved in one place for generations to come. It is hard to believe such a glamorous star actually existed. We don't have a permanent Marilyn Monroe or Joan Crawford museum...but we do have Marlene's.
