Paxo starts off in his usual condescending way towards anyone without a Home Counties accent - but quickly finds out he's not dealing with another Westminster cocktail set drone. Plaid Cymru's economic adviser, Eurfyl ap Gwilym, sets the arch Celtophobe straight on a few matters, whilst Jezza faffs about like a beached whale. 2:15 is where the real fun starts.

  • Misleading title was thinking id see some weird porno :o

  • St Patrick was Welsh, and was himself kept as a slave for six years in Ireland, having been taken from Wales by Irish raiders.

you've clearly got a couple wires crossed.

You probably think St George is English despite the fact he died before any Anglo-Saxon feet touched British soil.

  • Thatcher never closed the mines,Scargill did.

  • Paxman is such a shit interviewer.

  • ENGLISH INDEPENDENCE!!! FREEDOM FOR ENGLAND!!! Escape the clutches of Tory, Labour and Lib Dem and end this dreadful union. And what's best SCOTTISH, IRISH AND WELSH MPs can stop voting on English only matters :) happy days!

  • England has got natural resources. I live down the road from a quarry. There used to be a load of coal mines near to where i live as well, until that bitch Thatcher shut them all down!

  • I vote English Democrats because I don't want Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish MPs voting on English only matters. I hope one day England will get a parliament away from the Tory and Labour bastards and I hope one day England will be independent.

  • I'm English and I wouldn't really consider London as part of England any more because its too multicultural and diverse. Damn Labour govt!

  • Paxman firmly put in his place...

  • 1:14 Hilarious!

  • The Celtic Fringe: the Westminster Elections In Scotland And Wales, 1970-2010, A Complete Record by Grant Toway is a new, non-partisan publication which acts as a record of all 1,200+ constituency contests in Scotland and Wales since 1970. There are brief comments accompanying each result, a summary of each general election, while there are ten appendices which boast an assortment of interesting statistics and trivia. This is an ideal reference guide to politics in Scotland and Wales.
