Ntesa Dalienst (here with Josky and his cousin Serge Kiambukuta
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLuvuB0LX30 ) in Brussels when le T.P. O.K. Jazz was in Kin. Actually, this composition is more in Josky's style, a Shaba rhythm.

I miss you, my friend.

  • I never heard this before sounds very different from the traditional OK Jazz Rhythm. Ya Dizzy on solo

  • For your information: Guitares solo et Rythmique - Djodjo et Assani Corvin, Guitare Mi-solo - Assani Corvin, Guitare Basse - Djodjo. Dizi was with OKJ in Africa at the time and this was recorded in Brussels. The only others involved with OKJ history I am aware of: Cuivres - Dele Pedro, Lunama.

  • @AboubacarSiddikh I am looking for one Ntesa's song that he sang in late 80's. I don't remember the exact title but I think it was "Isa" (pronounced Iza).

"Oyebi ngai na lulaka yo, lisusu nalingaka yo, Isa yo kitoko ya maman...."

Thank you for helping me to find it. Regards

  • @Paulinmut Moose beat me to it, look here: globalgroovers.blogspot.com/2011/05/ntesa-daliens-iza-isse-tchika.html

  • @AboubacarSiddikh - Is there a chance you can upload one song which goes like "Nagi naleki, na residence marina.."? I think it was by M'Bilia Bel. Not sure. Then I think there was another hit by one of Afrisa's artistes...Was there a version of Mobutu Seseseko from Afrisa?

  • @odhiambo0 Answering your question? Not a chance, to be honest. I was never into either so I always neglected to pick them up when I spotted them along the road, so to speak. My focus was never on collecting them when I had the chance.

  • It's fine. I am only remembering the two songs from years back... I used to go to a particular pub which had them in a jukebox - the vinyl years:)

  • Oyo ezali musique ya batu bakotaki classe, oyo ya sika bayebi mukanda te nde bazali kobeta bibetelatela.Lokola Koffi ect.

  • Had an audio tape of this song 20 years ago!

  • wow wow wow those them days i wish i could rewind days for days of yester years they were the best RIP NTESA
