Rudiments - Double Drag Tap

The drum set is a custom-made kit I designed based on Sonor Signature drum sizes:

(diameter X depth X shell thickness)
Snare: 14" x 8" x 1"
Rack Tom: 12" x 12" x 3/8"
Floor Tom: 15" x 15" x 3/8"
Bass Drum: 18" x 16" x 1/2", with Shure Beta 52 MAY internal microphone.

I purchased the unfinished shells from Joshua Tree Percussion, and sanded them myself down to a satin finish with 0000 steel wool. I purchased the maple hoops from the Precision Drum Company and stained them with tung oil. I sent the drums to Hard Bop Drums for lacquer finishing and hardware.
