Mates Ford Prefect, just doing a diff oil change,Sweet little 997cc engine, Body is sound and the mileage is thought to be genuine,with stacks of history,originally a scottish car,it made its way down to the Isle of Wight a few years ago.

  • I swear 107e's came standard with 1300 Crossflow engines not 1litres?

  • @scudy4 No They were a 997cc pre-Xflow.

  • @scudy4 Yes i have seen 1300 and 1600 crossflows and even a 2 litre Pinto!

    Probably weigh less than a Pinto being the Pinto is all iron.

  • @mk3stargazer Mine's getting a Ford I-4 DOHC engine and 5 spd MT75 box from a Sierra- cheap as chips, 115bhp and same weight as a Pinto ;-) Lots and lots of welding first.....

  • Just got my cars mixed up.  Mum owned the Prefect 107E and I just bought the Prefect 100E.
