  • Scorpions Forever!!!

  • Woman: Years pass by but these guys, these musicians remain absolutely the same. And that’s a special thing about them and that’s why we go to their shows. Thank you very much for coming to our studio. Thank you for this present, we’re going to keep it! Thank you so much!

  • Rudi: It was in Dallas. So when in the next city we tried to check in at a hotel and told them our names they said “Sorry guys, but you can’t stay here because your friends have made a mess in Dallas”.

Man: I wonder if they will let you stay in Moscow hotels after that.

Klaus: It’s rock’n’roll image, you know. Some years ago we opened our Hard-Rock Café in Hamburg, in Germany and the part of entertainment there is to smash guitars.

  • Rudi: The situation was like this. We were making the promo tour in America. The band separated: Our bass guitarist, drummer and I were making promo tour on the West Coast. And there in “The 4 Seasons hotel” we were invited to a party. But when we came everybody was just sitting, watching TV. Our drummer got angry and threw the TV out of the window. And so it flew quite a long way and nearly reached the restaurant.

  • Man: Not all our viewers know that this year the Scorpions celebrate an anniversary. 30 years passed from the moment when you smashed a TV in one of the hotel rooms. And I guess some of your fans often ask you about it.

Man: You have a chance to do it now.

5:22 Man: Was it like that 30 years ago?

Klaus: well, actually it was like this sometimes. I remember when our drummer threw a TV out of the window.

  • Woman: Rudolf, do you agree with Klaus concerning the party and everything…. Perhaps you will take a smaller guitar one day, and perhaps some new ideas will come, for example, somewhere on your farm, or in the village, far-far away. And there you will sit and play this small guitar.

4:19 Klaus: Yeah! Wonderful! I play guitar, of course, but not as brilliant as Rudolf and Matthias do. And maybe they would come to my studio once or twice a week to give me some lessons.

  • Woman: Well, when the final tour is over, I’m sure you know what you are going to do next.

Klaus: No, I think we will always be musicians. And when the tour is over I’m sure there might be lots of musical adventures and new projects waiting for us. Now we are concentrated on the tour so that to say thanks to all our fans around the world and have a big party together. And maybe when it’s over there will be a new chapter in the book of life.

  • Rudi: Our family are the fans. And this is the time to thank them for the long term support, because 2010 and 2011 were special years. Our fans’ loyalty means so much to us. And we want to say them “Thank you” , it’s a kind of encore to us.

Man: If your fans will invite you to the Moscow Zoo, don’t go there, please! Because these animals live there. Meerkats. They eat scorpions.

  • Rudi: I mean, we’ve been here so many times and we’ve seen the main sights of Moscow, like Red Square, etc. We made 2 big tours from Vladivostok to Moscow, so we’ve seen a lot of places. Christmas is a special holiday and Moscow looks absolutely different on Christmas.

Woman: Exactly, and I can’t understand why you don’t want to stay with your families, with nearest and dearest, to cloister yourselves and to forget of the world outside on these special days, on Christmas Eve?

  • Klaus: Well, you know, for now it’s close to Christmas and we are here just to some TV, some press to announce our shows next year. But I mean Moscow before Christmas looks so beautiful! And there’re so many places we’d like to visit here in Moscow but unfortunately we’re too busy now. But I hope next year, during our Russian tour, we’ll be able to see all of them.
