What plane is this
-
so what does ugly stick mean?
-
i never use my rudder on my trainer
-
A dead stick can also mean any of the axis sticks have died, for example servo or radio failure on one or more control surface, but mainly a term used for the throttle stick when engine has cut out
-
my friend used to have one of these things. Note the fact that i say he USED to. he was flying it over a highway, and a transfer truck clipped the wing off it, and it hit the road nose first at around 25mph, and shredded it. amazingly, the back half and motor were salvageable, and he built another one with it. i lol'd for frickin days- called him the transfer truck maniac.

@megertron Dead stick is a term used by
rc pilots. its when the Plane Engine has
stopped running during flight, you have a
dead stick in your hands to control the plane
and land it :) hehehe

I have a question...
what are all the things you need to build a cheap nitro trainer plane. ive never flown one and i want to build one for around 350$ if i ever do im buying a cheap plane body cause i know im going to crash it the first flight ;)

Why not start with Foamie Electric planes. this way you will get trained well and crashes will be repairable. Nitro trainers. one crash and you are done.
