just put water pump in,test drive,super hydramatic,2nd to third gear rubber,Thanks for watching, i have had this car since high school ,will never get rid of it!

Needs over drive. ha ha ha.. sounds like it cruises along nice at 70.. II really like your page, some good stuff here.. was thinking if the slim jim in mine ever dies I would replace with 4speed auto with OD, do you know of any that would bolt up to the 389 without many modifications underneath?? weather here has been nice so we have been cruising ever other day so far this summer, cheers, bryan

@mrshrober 1963 blocks bolt up the starter to the block,late 64 blocks and newer bolt the starter to the tranny,rather limits options if you still have original block
