Dharma (Amitabh Bachchan) is an honest and noble farmer who moves with his family to Bombay after being offered a higher paying job by three businessmen brothers whose lives Dharma saved while on a hunting expedition. Before long, Dharma is promoted to supervisor and all is going well for his family. But after a police raid of the warehouse where he works, it is revealed that the brother are involved in drugs and gold smuggling and Dharma is wrongfully arrested and convicted as the head of the illegal operation. While Dharma serves his time in prison his family suffers through hardship and cruel injustice, causing irreparable damage. Upon his release, the now vengeful Dharma begins to seek his revenge on the three men who destroyed his life and his family.

  • Interestingly, both "Kung Fu Fighting" and "Dance the Kung Fu" were produced by Biddu, an Indian producer then based in Britain. He was one of the early pioneers of disco music, producing hit songs for Carl Douglas, Tina Charles, etc.

He then started producing Bollywood disco music from 1979, starting with "Aap Jaisa Koi" from the film Qurbani, then launched the careers of Pakistani pop star Nazia Hassan and Indi-pop star Alisha, and even produced hit songs for Japanese and Chinese pop stars.
