"Come On Get Happy" (Partridge Family TV Theme) - Rendezvous

Here's my quartet "Rendezvous" singing our first show as members of the Toronto Northern Lights chorus. It's a pleasure to share the stage with so many extraordinary gentlemen, and they were nice enough to give our quartet a spot in the program. Here we are singing one of our newer songs, "Come On Get Happy", which is a really cool arrangement of the 70s TV show theme, "The Partridge Family".

Our Quartet lineup consists of:
Brodie Cuff - lead
Calvin Frank - bass
Danny Fong - tenor
and myself (Andrew Kesler) - baritone

This is a cool song, not only because of the hip arrangement, even going so far as having #9 chords (OMG!!), but it also gives each member of the quartet a little spotlight. Being baritone, I hardly get to sing anything noticeable, so I was happy to find out upon learning this song that I get a really groovy solo.

If you're familiar with our quartet, you'll probably notice we're working harder on the performing aspect of our music, especially being more animated and, well, silly lol. We're still not there yet, but it's a start.

I like this recording it sounds great except the tag haha. We had been singing all day.. but then had like 4 hours off before we sang here so my voice felt really tired and I just randomly started cracking near the end. Shame :(

Just an FYI, this song was arranged by Aaron Dale.  One of THE best arrangers in the society, IMHO!
